There are theories the "beloved disciple" may have been John, the author of the Gospel of John, or Lazarus of Bethany.

Additionally, since the discovery of Talpiot Tomb on Friday, March 28, 1980, another theory has circulated; the beloved disciple was a son of Jesus named Judah. (we can objectively source this).

If there is merit to this theory, then Jesus may have had a heterosexual relationship with Mary Magdalene and bore this son, Judah.

Jesus certainly lived with a family of choice.
